About

We are a small rabbitry located in eastern MN currently breeding Mini Rex.
French Angoras are on the way!

Of course, our bunny project started with a little pet bunny that we gave to my sister Elanor for her birthday. The bunny was a little tri-color mini rex named Sugar.

About 5 years later, I purchased a few more Mini Rex. We loved the Mini Rex, because of their size, because of the softness of their fur, and because of the many many colors they came in! We began showing at our local fair the next year. After that, we decided to start our own Rabbitry. Our first litter was born in January 2013. And finally, we joined 4-H and began to show at nearby ARBA competitions. ←How our rabbitry began.

The future of our rabbitry→ Because we do not have any outdoor buildings (such as a barn) to keep our bunnies in, we need to build some high-quality hutches, that  can stand up to the MN weather, that are practical for cleaning purposes, that do not weigh a ton (for moving purposes), and that also look nice. Over the past few years, we have used many different cages, and even built our own. The hutches we have at the moment, are either old, were not built for MN weather, or are cheaply made ones that are just falling apart. After our new hutches are built, we will be adding French Angoras to our little rabbitry.
After the years that we spent studying and purchasing bunnies, we have learned how many little bunnies need rehoming. So many people buy bunnies without thinking it through, or they move and cannot take their bunny with them, so they either dump them, or bring them to a shelter. Once our new hutches are built we hope to foster some of these bunnies in any extra cage space we have and help find new and caring homes for them.
